About The Editor
Tom Horan, a former restaurateur, has authored dining guides for Houston Metropolitan Magazine, Houston City Magazine, Inside Houston Magazine and the Houston Chronicle. Horan was the food and restaurant critic for PM Magazine and KNWS-TV¹s Texas Today. Horan is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas. Horan was honored to be the Grand Marshall of the 2000 St. Patrick¹s Day Parade, Houston, Texas and was awarded the Vincent Guinan Distinguished Alumni for 2005.
Currently Horan serves on the board for the Center of Irish Studies at the University of St. Thomas; is the Senior Editor of America¹s Top Ten Club; Founder of T.I.A.R.A. - The Independent American Restaurant Association; Executive Vice President of Public Relations International of Texas, a public relations and marketing firm; and a recognized Bon Vivant and Icon of America¹s food and beverage industry.
